Our Trip to Denali National Park will be one that we
never forget. We'll probably be boring our grandchildren with our
stories of adventure. The sights we saw were just too amazing. No
words or pictures could ever do them justice. Also, we learned a lot
about ourselves as individuals. We pushed ourselves to do things that
we would never have done before and we were proud of ourselves for
making it. Together, we survived this and we are much stronger team
because of it. Finally, the solitude and beauty we witnessed in Denali
will push us to take better care of our environment and to explore
more wild areas of our world.
If any one of you asked me whether it was worth the pain, the
coldness, the hunger, and the dirtiness I would not hesitate to say,
"Yes, it was worth it!" If you asked me would I recommend
that you do it? I would say, "Don's hesitate, buy the next plane
ticket you can get and go there as fast as you can and stay as long as
you can!!!"
Again, this was a trip of a lifetime and neither Christina nor I will
ever forget it.
