Overview
You will learn about the important characteristics of a webquest and how you will promote the effective instructional practices of Constructivism, Cooperative Learning, and Scaffolding. Participants work in cooperative groups to examine several different webquests to learn more about the fun that you and your students can have learning with webquests. You will discover pre-packaged webquests that you can use to enhance your established curriculum while exceeding the state standards. Finally, you will share teacher-proven instructional strategies on how to effectively use webquests with your students. You will leave with a thirst to try the many webquests that you have discovered, in your own classroom.
