Insert an Image in
Mozilla Composer


A. Insert Your Image

  1. Click the place on the page where you want the image to be.
  2. Click the Image button on the top toolbar.
  3. This window will pop-up.

 

  1. Click Choose File to locate it on your computer. 
  1. To make the page accessible to people using screen readers or text-only browsers, add a text description of the image by filling in the Alternative Text box.  For example, if you have a picture of your principal, below is an appropriate example of "alternate" text:

 

  1. click OK

 

B. Resize Your Image 

  1. Double click on your image.
  1. This window will pop-up.

  1. Click on the Dimensions Tab
  1. Click on the Custom Size button
  2. Make sure that the Constrain Box is checked.  This will keep your image proportion.
  1. You will have to experiment with your width and height to get it the size that you want.  Soon, you will be used to using pixels to size your image.

  1. click OK
